About Locus Lock

Who Are We?

Locus Lock is a venture-backed, woman-owned, small business headquartered in Westminster, Colorado that specializes in high-performance, software-defined GNSS receivers designed for accurate, reliable positioning in complex environments (defense and commercial). The software-defined architecture enables high precision, high configurability, easy field-upgradability, and high security against spoofing and jamming at prices that enable mass market scale or attritable use cases. The technology performs well in challenging environments, such as deep urban, GNSS-contested (electronic warfare), or on highly dynamic platforms for air, ground, maritime, and space.

This dual-use solution is built on over a decade of proven research and software development at UT Austin’s Radionavigation Lab, and has been actively commercialized by Locus Lock since 2023.

"Locus Lock represents the best combination of deep technical expertise and market readiness. Their transition from academic innovation to commercial application, particularly in critical sectors like autonomous mobility, made this a compelling investment opportunity for us."

- Sherman Williams, AIN Ventures Managing Partner

"Having worked with Locus Lock during the past months, we have been impressed by their professionalism and the quality of their technical support, which... matter to me almost as much as the technology itself."
